I am a strong believer in Australia's federal system of government.I support state and territory rights. However the recent intervention by the Federal Government in aboriginal communities here in the N.T. and the funding of a hospital in Tasmania, whilst not desirable, has only become necessary because of the pathetically inept management of taxpayers funds by all state and territory Labor Governments. Whether in health, aboriginal affairs or any section of government, Labor has created huge wasteful bureaucratic empires which of course remove resources from the "coal face" where they are needed. Ex-union officials and former government employees which make up almost all Labor Governments, clearly have no real-world experience in management, hence the regular plethora of state and territory government failures.
